  • Regular visits to India over many years
  • Advanced teaching certificate--Sivananda Yoga-Vedanta Centre
  • Advanced teaching certificate from Srivatsa Ramaswami, who studied for 30 years with Krishnamacharya
  • Over 1000 hours of yoga philosophy study with Georg Feuerstein Phd., eminent yoga scholar and practitioner (Two certificates)
  • Advanced certificate in Buddhist Psychology and Counselling from Amida Trust, UK (an order of Pure-Land Buddhists)
  • Shamanic training with the Sacred Trust (UK), the Scandinavian Center for Shamanic Studies, and the Foundation for Shamanic Studies (California)
  • Experienced Buddhist and shamanic counsellor
  • BA and MA in English literature and language, University of California
  • Author of Blood Memories, a novel
  • Certified doula and birth educator, apprenticed with independent midwife, taught pregnancy yoga in California
